Organic Products

Organic Products

Consumers may notice a significant difference between prices of organic foods and foods that are not certified as being organic. There has been a lot of debate on the benefits of what consumers purchase as organic products. When purchasing milk at the grocery store, you may notice some store brands and brands not labeled as organic have statements in regards to the farmer’s pledge for only using cows that are not being supplemented with hormones for their milk. Do you think there is a clear difference in what you receive when you purchase “organic” verse “nonorganic” products at a grocery store? Do you think the “nonorganic” products are harmful to your health? If so, why do you think those products are still allowed to be sold for consumption?
